If you find yourself asking, “Am I really making a difference?“, we can help you monitor and measure the impact you’re making. We look at soil health, biodiversity and ecosystem function (water cycle, mineral cycle, energy flow and community dynamics), and provide management recommendations to help you take action! Monitoring includes the establishment of long term and short term monitoring sites that will be observed year-over-year. Soil sampling, water infiltration test, species ID/prevalence, forage estimates, and photographic plots are just a few of the metrics that we use to evaluate the Ecological Health Index of your farm. We’re always happy to show people our animals, practices, and management. This gives folks an opportunity to experience an intimate behind-the-scenes view of our farm. We offer private tours for individuals and larger groups.
